we love Ethiopians!

People keep asking what's the news with our second adoption. Well, we are STILL waiting on the child abuse reports to come in...please pray that it comes in soon!! That's the last piece of paperwork needed to complete our paperwork. Ugh...it always seems like we're waiting on one more thing.
We have a couple of Ethiopian friends that we see once in a while. Ethiopians are such wonderful people! I guess it's an understatement to say that we like Ethiopians and we can't wait to add another one to our family! Below are a couple pictures of Ethiopian ladies who just love Joseph.
This picture is a lady who works at Chili's. She just goes crazy over Joseph. The other day when we went to Chili's she took Joseph to go play while we ate our meal. It was so nice to be able to eat our meal in peace and watch Joseph chase after a balloon on the other side of the restaurant. :)
This is a picture of an Ethiopian lady who bought Joseph the big teddy bear. She watched him walking around and knew that he was from Ethiopia. When she gave him the teddy bear he hugged it and she started crying. So sweet!!

people overseas are much different with little ones than the general public is here in the states huh? i can remember that when we were in brazil we didn't worry to much about where the boys were... we knoew someone had them and they were fine... on one of our travels one of the babies was crying and ben and i nwere trying to eat ans the watiress kept coming and heating up our dinner so we could try and eat it warm... finally after each of oiur meals had been heated up one of the older women came and said you prro things let me have him for a bit so that you can eat... we were so thankfull! i think that that was auctually at a rest stop somewhere in the states! we enjoied watching all of your videos today of jojo... you have quite a few up! yeah! take care and we will talk to you guys latter! mery christmas!! love stacy and gang!
What a sweet and wonderful thing that your children will know the love of other Ethiopian people.
Ethiopians are some of the nicest, sweetest, loving people! I love them too. It is fun to see how people from other cultures bond, and reach out to people they know are from their country. I love seeing this and what a cool, awesome post!!
